Okay...so right now I feeling horrible for not posting in forever. It is already the third week of school and so much has happened since the last time I wrote! No one probably even reads my blog anyway...so it's okay! hahaha

Anyway...school is awesome and my friends rock. I love this school because everyone makes you feel like you belong. I automatically felt like I had been going to MCA for years. The first week the whole HS went to Pine Cove Ranch for bonding. We had teams and I made a lot of new friends during the week.
Yesterday was the first home varsity football game of the year and we lost by 8 points D: The whole freshmen class was there and we just talked the whole time anyway but I feel bad for the guys that they lost.
On the bright side...the team drove more than 5 hours from Amarillo to play us, so at least they didn't drive that far and lose! LOL

Ugh. Every school has this person. The girl who makes up ridiculous rumors that don't even make sense and then spreads them. If you want to be her friend, she pulls you around making you do what she wants and you become her servant who does all her dirty work. Yup, even my little tiny Christian school has one of those. You can't get away from them, can you? And lucky me, she was my host family person...she was the very first person I met from the school. But don't worry, I am staying away from her.

I really don't have much else to talk about except that I am doing great and I can't wait to go to school tomorrow! (I never thought I would say that)...
Adios!

So I guess I am officially a Texan. I live in Texas now and letmetellya. It is much different here than it is in California. First of all, the weather is hot and humid, while the Bay Area was dry and cool. In the summer, Texas is as green as can be because of all the summer thunder storms. California on the other hand is dry with fires that start from dry grass. The food here is great! And the cost of drinks and food is less. I live in a suburb off of Dallas, so there are a lot of stores and places to eat; it isn't just ranches and barns. Oh! And I don't ride a tractor to school every day (in case you were wondering).

Oh yeah, speaking of school, I start on the 16th of August. The first Friday I arrived in Texas I went to a volleyball camp at school. I made some new friends who gave me a scoop on my new school. I go to a Christian private school, and there isn't as much drama as you think (but then again...there is more than you think). There is a group of girls I should watch out for. They lure you in then drop you off a cliff right when you see their bad side. There are the two popular girls who are the prettiest and all of the guys ask them out (Which I don't really care about considering I don't want to have a boyfriend or anything...what's the point? Drama?). I wonder if they dress alike and finish each other's sentences? And my friend Hannah said that there is one guy who is really hot but doesn't date (which is her problem. Because personally, I couldn't care less).

Camp was fun and I really improved on a lot of things including my previously horrible overhand serve. I still can't stand behind the line and get it over but now I can hit the ball near the net! But all of my thoughts about trying out for JV are gone. I forgot to put in the factor that I now live in Texas. They are HUGE on sports and I don't really feel like committing like they need me to. I mean, come on! The school is in a new division and now there is practice everyday from 9am-12pm and then 4-6pm!!! That is seven hours a day. Nonono. I am not athletic and if I TRIED to do that then I would die. I could barely make it through seven hours of camp throughout two days :O

On another note...I get to see my cousins almost every day now! I love them, but not always that much. They get on the ground and hold on to my legs while I walk. Did I mention there is five of them? Yeah. Four boys and one girl. Two boys are almost eight years old, one is six, and one just turned four last Thursday (on his birthday I asked him if he was the birthday boy and he said, "No. I am the king of the babies!" bahahaha). We have a pool at our apartment complex so they are over a lot ;)

I hope that this helps cover the last few weeks I haven't written!

Blog
Hi everyone! That day is coming soon. I will leave behind California and everything I have known my whole life. I am moving to Texas. Each day is going by way too fast and I am trying to enjoy them with my family and friends. I am so thankful for the person who invented Skype and Instant Messenger. My world would die without them.

I moved from Sacramento to the Bay Area four years ago. Before living in the Sacramento area, I actually lived in the town I live in now...but I was only about 4 years old. If I thought that moving away from friends in fourth grade was hard then I never prepared myself for a move this big.

One thing that I think is really weird is that I have lived my whole life just an hour away from San Francisco, yet I have never visited the city. I want to go and try the sourdough bread while standing on Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. My grandpa brought a few bags of bread from SanFran home one day...but I don't think it is the same.

My parents planned our drive to our new home in Texas as a road trip. We will stop in Disneyland and the Grand Canyon, as well as The Cadillac Graveyard and maybe some random place on the side of the road in New Mexico. Maybe by incorporating fun into our trip it will take off the stress of moving away from my friends.

I already have two friends in Texas who will be in my Freshman class at my new school. I have never met them...and well, they don't exactly look like the type of people that are my friends now; I guess that is part of moving...making new friends. My new school has a program where you get a host family and they introduce you to other people from school so you have friends on the first day of school.

I have dreams that something weird happens and we move back to California and I live happily ever after. I wish. :P

Updates
Not anything at the moment...but maybe some new pictures very soon!

God's Word of the Day

Psalm 3:3,4
But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.
To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill.

What you are going through right now is nothing compared to the greatness of God. Just ask him for help, that is all you have to do. He will answer you; it might not be right away, but your faith in God and Jesus Christ will keep you going.
I am moving to Texas soon and I really hope to have more adventures just like my camping trip, with all of my friends before I leave. There are so many people who I am going to miss, but I know that God has a plan laid out for my life and since this is His will, I will go with it.

Blog
Hi everyone! I just got back from camping yesterday and oh how I have missed Facebook! I could barely stand being away from my lovely computer and television. Although that was hard, nature was naturally wonderful :P Just the serenity of the birds chirping and the sound of the river rushing below the hill right outside the cabin made me never want to leave.

I had many fun adventures with my two best friends. We "hiked" up the river to get to a place called Butterfly Beach and the water was FREEZING. As it always is, roasting marshmallows and playing charades by the campfire was a blast.

So, who likes the new layout?! I DO!!! I <3 Dear Agony for making it so easy to make this new layout.

God’s Message of the Day

Psalm 90:2,4
Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.

So, God has ALWAYS been here. Kind of hard to think about? Well, God was never born, nor will he ever die! He made the earth and the universe, as well as all of us. This is one concept you will just have to ask God about when you get to heaven!

Heyyy! It is time for finals again Yet, that signals the end of the school year! FRESHIE TIME. Chyeah. I should be studying for an IPS final that I have tomorrow…yet I will take the time to blog to you lovely folks. I actually find it exciting to blog now! I love it (just look at me in a month, I will probably be saying the exact opposite thing). I will write again after finals, I don’t have very much to say right now ;)

Updates
So as you can see, I have a new layout and my website is much cleaner than before! I know it took me awhile to get it done, but I hope it was well worth it. My website will now only contain photos, writings, and my blog. There will be no more affiliates and I will just have a few of my favorite people linked. I hope you enjoy the new and improved Grey Lemons! I want to thank Dear Agony for their help in making my life a little less stressed.

God's Message of the Day

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

God will always be there when you need him. Since he has control over everything, he can save you. Even when it seems like no one cares, the Lord will listen to your problems and love you. God never regrets creating you. He is proud of his creation!

Disneyland
My eighth grade graduation trip was a blast this last week when I got to go to Disneyland with some of my favorite people! While the poor little sevies spent the week at "Health Ed" classes at school, we got to have the time of our lives! I made a lot of great memories and had tons of fun while I was there. The main chaperon who organizes the event every year made a photo scavenger hunt where you must find every photo on the paper and take a picture of it. Then the first team who checks in with him and shows them their pictures wins $125. My group decided that we would spend the money on a delicious lunch at The Blue Bayou (the restaurant off the water in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride) and split the remaining money between us. It turns out we beat the other groups and won the money, which made our trip even better! Since three of the people in our group had $5 food vouchers, our bill was not that much considering the prices of the things in that restaurant and we each had $20 dollars to spend after the tip!

On the last day when we were leaving to come back to NorCal ;) we got to go to a character breakfast. My most favorite Disney character in the whole wide world was there (Stitch) and I got to give him a big hug! It was a great trip :D

Hello everyone, this is the first post that I have posted being 14 years old :D Don't you love birthdays? You get to carry balloons around all day at school. Eat cake and other junk food. Get lots of attention :). I love my birthday!!! This weekend (actually in about 2 hours) I am leaving for Sacramento with my bestest buddy in the whole world, Francine. We are going to have loads of fun. This will be one of the best birthdays ever!

[More Than Conquerors] And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

Hopefully, for most of you, my website looks better. I know that it looks fine on Opera and IE, but I also know that it looks horrible on Safari...I am not sure about Firefox though :/.

I have to go and pack for Sacramento now, talk to you guys later!

Updates
Hey guys, as you could tell, my layout was MESSED UP. Anyway, I am working on it right now and hopefully it will look beautiful by the end of the hour. I have somewhat been able to fix it. Also... From now on, I will have a Bible verse for each post. :)

John 13:34-35
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Happy Valentine's day everyone! I hope all of you are having a lovely day today

Happy Valentine’s day everyone! I hope all of you are having a lovely day today <3... I am excited for today because every Valentine's Day we have cheese fondue and chocolate fondue, as well as Steak Dianne Yum. For those of you who have no clue what the heck fondue is, let me tell you: A dish of hot liquid in which small pieces of food are cooked or dipped: beef fondue; chocolate fondue.
You can dip vegetables, and bread in the cheese; pound cake, pretzels, and fruit in the chocolate!!! It is like a dip-lover’s dream! So now you want fondue. Ha.
My parents bought me a cute recipe box complete with recipe cards that match, a calender with different desserts on the pages for each month, and cupcake liners for my Valentine present. And my dad bought all Disney themed cards for all of us, and after we finished opening them, my mom announced that we are going to California Adventure park this summer on the way to Texas (we are moving)… and the next day we are going to the Grand Canyon in Arizona I think they decided to do this to make it easier on my sister and me when we move

Even though nothing will make me okay with moving away from my best friends, a nice trip is still okay

PS: For those of you who were wondering…I MADE THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM!

Habakkuk 3:17-19
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.

Finals are over and I aced the science final. My math teacher is slow at grading so am not sure what I got on the Algebra final yet :/
I also just found out that the principal decided to make the Jr. High students take finals for EVERY CLASS for the second semester...and I thought I didn't like her before that... I am happy though because they gave us yesterday off of school so we could get ready for the new semester. On that day, I still had to go to school for volleyball tryouts, but I didn't care because I had a lot of fun (pray that I make the team).

My friend had an awesome birthday party this weekend and she had good cake, too :) We played Pokemon (we are dorks) on her Wii, and my friend Monica and I had a ping-pong tournament.

Since this post is not very sincere, and at that, very short, here are some thoughtful questions for you to ponder...

1. What is your favorite kind of cake?
2. Do you play a sport? If you do, what is it?
3. What is your favorite Pokemon O_O?

My friend had her birthday party at a place called Color Me Mine yesterday. At this place, you pick a ceramic piece and paint it, then, they put it in an oven type thing that hardens the paint and makes it shiny. My "friend's" parents own it. He is a weirdo so that is why I put the word friend in quotations...its a long story...

Anyway, his family (including him) are always there everyday, so of course, that made the party awkward for both the 13 girls, and for him :P. They were all yelling his name and making him blush...IT WAS HILARIOUS. He played his saxophone for us and we sang happy birthday to his playing. I made a piggy bank that had three pigs stacked on top of each other :D

That is all that I have to say.

Updates
I have three new affies! Let's give a warm welcome to Eri, Rikki, and Carson!

Blog
Well, I am back at school. With all of the essays, reports, tests, and soon...FINALS. You just gotta love those finals. I guess it is my fault that I have finals since I decided to take Algebra 1 and IPS which are both high school courses. But I am happy because my awesome teacher welcomed us back by playing Numb3rs in class!!! I finally decided on a good New Year's Resolution having to do with school also; I am going to practice my clarinet for 30 minutes every day for at least four days a week. :O I have never attempted anything like that in my whole life, but I think that I can do it! You can ask my wonderful mother how much I practice, and she will tell you that never do. :P But if you ask her how much I am supposed to....haha...well way more than never.
I have some questions related to school for you...

1. What is your favorite subject?
2. Do you play an instrument? If you don't, would you like to, and what kind would you play?
3. Do you have creepy teachers (I know I do!)?

Another resolution of mine is to blog much more often, and recently, I have been...so if you miss a post, just go use the arrows down there to travel back in time to read part of my life :D.

Yeah, I know, horrible title...whatev. You should just be glad that I am blogging :).

I saw Avatar last night and it rocked my socks! I saw the movie in the Digital Cinema theater at my local Cinemark and that definitely gave me the experience I was looking forward to. Excluding the weird rituals, naked blue people, and swearing...it was great! I love the way they made you want to support the Avatars, making you turn on the human race. Very tricky... But the fact that the military people were jerks made it better. I recommend this movie, yet I don't. The side of me that recommends it loves Sci-Fi and appreciates the story line of the movie, making every bit of the three-hour long movie exciting. The Christian side of me that does not recommend it says that I had to close my eyes at the part where they started kissing...A LOT and couldn't stand the half naked blue people.

Considering it was a $500,000,000 production, they used the money well on the animation of Pandora and the detail of the plants that lit up when the Avatars touched them. Their connection with the animals and the plants was very well thought out and so was the whole entire setting of the war at the end of the movie.

Now, I will not go into major details, because I don't want to spoil this movie for you!
Stars I give it: 4 and 1/2
Age to see: Depending on what movie you like... 12+

Edit:// Hey everyone! I was working on my new layout, when my internet stopped working! Of course, the internet is one of the most important parts of making a layout, so, I could not finish it. Just today did my internet start working again! Also, Francine, my sister, and I have made you people a wonderful store! We have put long hard hours into this so please give it a look! Click here. Oh, and by the way...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
://Edit

My site will still be open but I will not be blogging for a long while. I may do some picture updating during Christmas break, but I cannot promise any blogs. Affies, feel free to take me off, as I am sure most of you have already done; I will not take it personally. If you decide to leave me on, please email me so I do not delete you. I also wanted to let you know that during break, you may see a new layout on Grey Lemons and Glow in the Dark may randomly appear finished. :)

Just wanted to inform you!

Heya, sorry for not posting for 10 days :) I am really trying to write for you guys more often now, even if I don't have anything to talk about (like right now). It seems like that is my lame excuse for not blogging. I hope I can keep this up because I really enjoy it, it takes some of the pressure of life off of me. I also cannot wait until I get Glow in the Dark up and running. Then I can share even more with you!

Updates
Hi there. No updates right now, but check back later, okay?

Blog Time
So I finally thought of something to say :) Hehe. At school right now, we are having a volleyball tournament. You just find five people and make a team, then you sign up and that's it. I love volleyball (but I am not the best) and have a few friends that were on the team, so I signed up with them. So it turns out that my friend that was on the team signed us up, along with another girl that was on the the team. Also my best friend joined and that left us needing 2-3 more people to make a full team. We were asking around, but we could only find one person (who actually played before). So I thought that we would just play with five people.
My friend comes up to me after school and tells me that since we couldn't find more people, he signed up with three sevies that have never played before, kicking out the other guy that I told he could play with us...

GRR. I wanted at least a slight chance of winning, but that was out of the picture. Our team consisted of 2 players that have been on the volleyball team before. Me. My best friend. 2 Boys that are scared of the ball. And a shorty who steals the ball when someone else calls it.
Oh, and did I add that we were against a team of FIVE people that were all boys, they were all eighth graders, AND they have all been on the team before. We had a one person advantage, but lost by TWELVE anyway.

Sorry for ranting about volleyball. B-)

Updates
Here is an update on how Glow in the Dark will look, as well as the new layout for Grey Lemons.
So I was talking to Francine and we decided that for Glow in the Dark, everything will be black, the background, the banner image, the text on the image, everything but the main text, which will probably be white or something in that region. Then, the text on the header image that says, "Glow in the Dark" will have white light shining through the back of it...it will look so awesome!
For Grey Lemons, I will make a basic layout and just a pretty header image. Yes, I WILL. In the time I have been inactive I have learned how to make CSS Layouts! I will do a harvest/fall theme for the header image. For future layouts, I will use this same basic layout, but make it custom by adding a new image and changing the CSS, as well as adding a little something extra for each one.

Blog Time
So last night I went to go babysit with my friend, and I had a really good time. The little boy we were taking care of is so adorable, and he is very smart. We played games like hide and go seek around the house, and he even started a tickle fight with us :O. We also made blue jello and hot chocolate (which he had never tried, and loves now). But when it got to bed time...DUN dun dun. At first, he was all sleepy and ready to go to bed, so we put him to bed and he stayed there for about 5 minutes. Then he came out and was all, "I'm scared," so then we had to make him sleepier. We let him lay on the couch for about 10 minutes, then brought him back to bed. In around 3 minutes, he was out. He was so tired that he just fell asleep right away.

We were almost falling asleep ourselves, it was so late. When the parents got home (way later than they said), we finally got to go home and sleep.

Sorry that this blog is so boring, I wish my life was more exciting so that I could share it with you.

I also cannot wait until I get Glow in the Dark up and running. Then I can share even more with you!

Updates

Here is an update on how Glow in the Dark will look, as well as the new layout for Grey Lemons.
So I was talking to Francine and we decided that for Glow in the Dark, everything will be black, the background, the banner image, the text on the image, everything but the main text, which will probably be white or something in that region. Then, the text on the header image that says, “Glow in the Dark” will have white light shining through the back of it…it will look so awesome!

But when it got to bed time…DUN dun dun. At first, he was all sleepy and ready to go to bed, so we put him to bed and he stayed there for about 5 minutes. Then he came out and was all, “I’m scared,” so then we had to make him sleepier.

Hello everyone! It is SO great to be back! The reason for my absence is very simple. I had a bad host :( The whole time I was down was because of down time from my server. But I am glad to say that that will never ever happen again unless I am doing a revamp or something. This is because I am hosted under Host Monster now. They have 24/7 service and they are absolutely awesome!

Updates
I have posted a bunch of new pumpkin pictures and I hope you all enjoy them :) My new layout (that will hopefully come soon) will be based off of a picture I took along with those. The banner is simple (but pretty).

Just like Francine, I have decided to make a blog about my faith and my journey with Jesus. Even if you are not a Christian or don't believe in Jesus (which would make you NOT a Christian), I hope that you read my blog at least once.
It will be called "Glow in the Dark" and I will put it as a sub-domain under Grey Lemons.

Edit://
Here is the banner I made for it. I will probably re-make it when I have access to Photoshop. I had to make this one on Paint.NET.

Blog Time
Carving pumpkins is fun because your hands get pumpkin covered. B-) The other day Francine came to my house and we carved punkins (as we call them) with my sister. Francine had already done one a couple of weeks ago, but it rotted. She wanted to carve with us so she bought one from Trader Joe's and came to my house.

Here is how my beautiful punkin turned out:

I also made a scarecrow:

And also, if you do not have enough time to gut a pumpkin and carve it here is a great idea where you only need sunflower seeds, a hot glue gun, a Sharpie, and some popsicle sticks (and of course a pumpkin). Here is my mom's owl pumpkin:

Thanks for reading my blog!
